  • The centre has CPCSEA approval for experiments and breeding of small animals.

  • We have our own Institutional Animal Ethics Committee Regulated by CPCSEA New Delhi for ethical clearance of toxicity study.

The Animal House Facility

The Animal House Facility

The air-conditioned Animal House is situated at 189/A, Santoshpur Avenue, Kol –700075 and well equipped with state- of-the-art facilities and is maintained according to the rules & regulation of DCGI, CPCSEA New Delhi, where 300 animals (Rat, Mice, Rabbit and Guinea pig) can be accommodated.

  • Acute toxicity study on rats and mice through injectable and oral dosage form (7 – 14 days period according to the CDSCO Schedule Y requirements of Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 2005 New Amendment and OECD guidelines)

  • Sub acute toxicity study on rats and mice through injectable and oral dosage form (28 days period according to the CDSCO Schedule Y requirements of Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 2005 New Amendment and OECD guidelines)

  • Chronic Toxicity Study on rats, mice and rabbits (90 - 120 days period according to the CDSCO Schedule Y requirements of Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 2005 New Amendment and OECD guidelines)
